Researcher at Centre for Tourism Research, Development and Innovation – CITUR & Interdisciplinary Centre of Social Sciences - CICS:NOVA. Member of the Scientific Council of the Douro International Natural Park and Strategic Council of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park until 2019. Member of the Scientific Committee Estrela UNESCO Global Geopark and coordinator of the Territory, Tourism and Sustainability Research Area in the Science and Education Network for the Sustainability of Estrela Geopark (RCEGE). Member of the Executive Board of the National Mountain Research Network of FCT and Scientific Council of the Iberian Mountain Research Network (RIIM).
