Goutam Roy
Goutam Roy
is working as an Associate Professor in Education at the Institute of Education and Research, University of Rajshahi, Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Mr Roy is mainly responsible for teaching courses on research methods and evaluation at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in his current role. His research interests include early childhood and primary education, community participation in schools, assessment of student learning, teaching-learning activities, science and online education. During his career in teaching and research, Mr Roy has presented several academic papers on some of the areas mentioned above at different national and international conferences. He has also contributed to several books, book chapters and journal articles. Before starting his career in academia, he worked for two international NGOs in which he carried out several research projects on primary education, teaching and learning process, learning achievement of students, and program evaluation on school improvement and program effectiveness. Mr Roy was also involved with some nationwide surveys on pre-primary and primary education in Bangladesh. He also has experience in doing collaborative.
