Hülya Şirin
Hulya Sirin
graduated Cukurova University, School of Medicine in 1992, worked as a general practitioner in the field of primary health care and completed PhD program in Public Health at Gazi University in 2011. Between the years of 2003 and 2005, she worked as a researcher at Center for Injury Research and Control, University of Pittsburgh. She got training on Newborn Screening Program Policies at U.S. National Newborn Screening and Genetics Resource Center, University of Texas. She has worked as a program manager in newborn screening program at the General Directorate of Mother and Child Health and Family Planning between 2006 and 2010, and as a senior advisor at the General Directorate of Public Health between 2014 and 2018, Ministry of Health. Dr Sirin created a great experience on public health science at almost every level including primary care, policy making and academy. Since 2018, he enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience as an Associate Professor at Gülhane School of Medicine, University of Health Sciences.
