Ian D. Bishop

Ian Bishop is a Professorial Fellow in the Department of Infrastructure Engineering at the University of Melbourne. His research includes quantitative and analytical approaches to land use, environmental assessment, planning and design especially using tools such as geographic information systems (GIS), visualization and agent-based modeling. He is committed to expanding the role of technology in the management of natural resources and in facilitation of public participation in planning and design issues.
