Ingrid Barth
Ingrid Barth
has an M.A. in Curriculum Design and Evaluation and a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Bar Ilan University and is a graduate of the Feuerstein Institute’s Instrumental Enrichment and Dynamic Assessment programs. Her main areas of interest include designing software to support acquisition of high-frequency vocabulary, and using mediation to adapt academic content courses to needs of EMI (English Medium Instruction) students. Ingrid has been affiliated with The Open University of Israel’s English Unit and Tel Aviv University’s Division of Languages, and as a teacher educator, is currently working on developing national level professional development modules for tertiary level English teachers as well as for content lecturers who teach EMI students. She recently completed a Horizons 2020 project to bridge high school – university gaps and recently won a Ministry of Education grant for utilizing Researcher-Practitioner Partnerships to design online professional development to support CEFR-aligned curriculum reform.
