Jennifer L. Chiu
Jennifer Chiu
is an Associate Professor of STEM education at the University of Virginia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Stanford University and a master’s and Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. Her research explores the design of educational technologies to support student and teacher learning within science, mathematics, engineering, and computer science domains. Prior to her doctoral work she worked at Hewlett-Packard in their mobile computing division and as a high school science and mathematics teacher. Chiu is currently a PI and Co-PI on multiple federally- and foundation-funded projects and on the editorial board of multiple journals.
