Jorge Ramos
Jorge Ramos
is an Integrated Invited Assistant Researcher of the Research Centre for Tourism, Sustainability and Well-being (CinTurs) at the University of Algarve, Portugal. He has worked on socioeconomics related to coastal issues, particularly ecotourism, small-scale fisheries and offshore aquaculture. His research interests include aspects related to ecotourism, stakeholder analysis, artificial reefs, among other areas. He has participated and led case studies in several national and international projects. He holds a PhD in Fisheries Economics and Management, a PgC in Social Research Methods, a MSc in Fisheries Economics (University of Portsmouth, UK) and a graduate degree in Marine Biology and Fisheries (University of Algarve, Portugal).
