Kawa Nazemi

Kawa Nazemi graduated in Media and Computer Science at the University of Applied Sciences Giessen-Friedberg in 2006 with a Dipl.-Ing. (Master Degree). Henceforth he worked as researcher at the Fraunhofer IGD and was involved in several national and European projects, where he developed user- centered systems for knowledge representations. In 2007 he overtake the leadership and management of the THESEUS project Innovative User Interfaces and Visualizations, where he established a research group focused on semantics and adaptive visualization. Since 2011 he leads the research group Semantics Visualization. His research interests are focused on technologies and concepts for user-, context-, and data-adaptive visualizations. Kawa Nazemi is author of more than 40 peer-reviewed publications, and serves as reviewer and PC member for a couple of conferences.
