Keri A. Sullivan
Keri Sullivan
is a graduate of Northcentral University with a Ed.D in Special Education. She has teaching experience at the University Level in both graduate and undergraduate courses, experience as a special education teacher in the K-12 classrooms, and experience working as the county behavior specialist for children on the autism spectrum ages 5-18 both in school settings and in-home/clinical settings. All of the students she has interacted with have disabilities that include students with emotional disturbances, autism, learning disabilities and students labeled as At-Risk. In addition, Dr. Sullivan is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She works for a private company which provides services to children with autism spectrum disorder in the home setting, clinic, community, and school setting. Her job duties include, but are not limited to, creating behavior plans, training and implementing the plans, performing reliability checks throughout the month to ensure implementation of the plans, running functional behavior assessments (FBA), collecting and analyzing data, performing preference and reinforcement assessments, coaching sessions, and teaching sessions. It is also part of her job description to create task analysis on different aspects on daily living skills and academic sessions and attend IEP meetings to discuss progress being made. It is Dr. Sullivan’s goal to combine her range of experience with her ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent person who will make a positive contribution to future educators in the School of Education. She motivated by ensuring that all students acquire the knowledge, skills and values necessary to live rich, fulfilling lives as responsible, productive and enlightened members of a democratic society. This position will offer her the opportunity to have a profound and lasting impact.
