Koo Ah Choo
Koo Ah-Choo
is an Associate Professor at Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM), Multimedia University (MMU). She received her B.Sc. (Hons) from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and her PhD from MMU. Her research specialization is mainly on technology enhanced learning, communication and quality of life. She is active in the research of media usage, design and creation, media methods especially in the promotion of wellness, education and lifelong learning. She led recent research projects on eHealth modality for mental wellness among digital talents (funded by Ministry of Higher Education, FRGS); Designing mobile services for ageing women in Malaysia (funded by IDRC, Carleton University), Joint Research of six other universities on Digital Futures under RIPHEN initiative, and Empathic e-mental health awareness and 5R model for final year students (Internal Knowledge Transfer Grant). She is currently served as the Deputy Director for Government Liaison and Industry Engagement (GLIE) Division, under the Vice President Office of Market Exploration, Engagement and Touchpoint at Multimedia University.
