Kristina Scott
Kristina Scott
is an associate professor and program director for the special education and autism programs at Salem State University. She currently teaches courses to prepare early childhood, elementary, secondary, and special education teachers to enter today’s diverse classroom environments. She has developed or redesigned over 20 teacher preparation courses at the university to reduce the theory-to-practice gap and worked in collaboration with partnership districts. Her also contributes to the special education field through her advocacy work around neurodiversity and serving as an educational surrogate in her home state.
