Kwong Bor Ng

Kwong Bor Ng (Ph D) is an associate professor teaching at the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies, Queens College, CUNY. He has also been a consultant for various research projects sponsored by the National Science Foundation and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Dr Ng’s teaching and research areas are in the technical and technological aspects of metadata and information retrieval in the context of digital libraries environment. Dr. Ng has published more than 20 refereed papers in the most prestigious information science research journals, like Journal of The American Society for Information Science & Technology, and Information Processing & Management. His most recent book publications include: (1) Using XML, published by Neal-Schuman in 2007; (2) Collaborative Technologies and Applications for Interactive Design, co-edited with S. Rummler, published by Information Science Reference in 2009; and (3) Digitization in the Real World, co-edited with J. Kucsma, published by Metropolitan New York Library Council in 2011.
