Laith Shlash Ismail

Laith Shlash Ismail , a Jordanian humanitarian worker, is recognized for his leadership in diverse humanitarian and development interventions, spanning WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), SWM (Solid Waste Management), livelihoods, agriculture, MHPSS (Mental Health and Psychosocial Support), and operations management. He holds a degree in Logistics Sciences from the German Jordanian University and a Master’s in European Studies from the University of Düsseldorf. Laith has also conducted research in the circular economy, showing a keen interest in sustainable development and climate resilience. Currently, he serves as the Field Coordinator for ACTION AGAINST HUNGER in Jordan, overseeing interventions across various sectors in the country. He is set to advance his career as the Country Representative for ACTION AGAINST HUNGER in Libya. Laith is a senior member of the Arab Trainers Union, a dedicated organization working to advance the training profession in the Arab world and promote excellence in professional performance.
