Louis Okon Akpan
Louis Okon Akpan
is a seasoned scholar interested in qualitative research. He began his academic journey at the University of Calabar where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Education (B.Sc./Ed.) in Geography Education. Dr. Okon holds three master’s degrees in Climatology, Comparative Education, and Commerce (Leadership). He obtained his Ph.D. in Comparative Education from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Louis belongs to several academic associations including the World Association of Academics and Researchers, the International Society of Comparative Education, Science, and Technology, and the Association of Nigerian Geographers. His research interests include education for disadvantaged people, gender and sexuality education, and inclusive education. He has published widely in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
