Lucy K. Hunt
Lucy Hunt
has worked with the Los Angeles Unified School District for twenty-six years in many capacities. She has been an elementary school teacher, an assistant principal, a District Specialist, and is currently a District Coordinator for Gifted/Talented Programs. She serves as a resource within Los Angeles Unified School District in developing and coordinating elementary and secondary program services, materials, and course content in the field of gifted education. She coordinates and designs professional development opportunities on gifted education for multiple audiences and platforms. Dr. Hunt holds a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California in Curriculum and Instruction. She is an expert on differentiated instruction in mixed-ability classrooms with a special emphasis on teaching gifted learners.
