Lukas Zenk
Lukas Zenk
works as an Associate Professor for Innovation and Network Research and the Deputy Head of Research at the Department of Knowledge and Communication Management, Danube University Krems. In his applied research projects, he investigates how people collaboratively solve complex problems and how creative and innovative processes can be supported. Currently, he leads the applied project “Organizational Improvisation” (www.improvisation.science) and developed the one-week university modules “Business Improvisation”, “Lego Serious Play” and “Cognition and Creativity”. Furthermore, he works as a network partner at Beratergruppe Neuwaldegg and founded the company The Lightbox Network (
) to innovate and consult organizations. He co-created the method Designing.Events (www.designing.events), co-developed the web app Collective Pictures (
), and co-founded the improvisational theater company Quintessenz in Vienna. His innovative lectures, talks, and research projects in Networks, Innovation, and Improvisation have earned him several awards.
