M. Sivasakthi
Sivasakthi M.
is an educationist. He has received B.Sc and M.Sc in Computer Science from Periyar University, Salem, Tamil Nadu, India in 2004 and 2006 respectively, M. Phil in Computer Science from University of Madras, Chennai, in 2007, and he obtained Ph. D in Computer Science - Engineering Education from National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (Ministry of HRD, Govt. of INDIA) affiliated to University of Madras in 2013. He is qualified UGC-NET conducted by NTA, Govt. of India. He is working as Assistant Professor in the College of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Vadapalani City Campus, Chennai, since 2017. He has a decade of experience in the ground of teaching. He has received ‘Discipline Star’ certificate from NPTEL-SWAYAM. He has obtained topper in Database Management System and Programming in Java, gold in ‘Joy of Computing using python’, Silver in ‘Learning Analytics Tools’, and elite in ‘Data Science for Engineers’, ‘Python for Data Science’ and in Machine Learning Certificate course conducted by IIT-NPTEL. He is International Java Programmer Certified by Sun Micro System in 2008. His research is concerned with the pedagogical aspects of computer programming, Computing education and Machine Learning. He has contributed his research publications through 11 Journal publications, 13 Conference proceedings. He is life member in professional bodies such as Indian Society for Technical Education Computer Society of India and Annual member in Computer Science Teachers Association and Indian Science Congress.
