Margaret Fitch-Hauser
Margaret Fitch-Hauser is Associate Professor Emeritus of Public Relations at Auburn University. She has been involved in listening research and consulting for over 35 years. She is a life member of the International Listening Association and former editor of the International Journal of Listening. Primary areas of research include listening fidelity, the effect of schemata on listening processes, and the effect of information distortion on recall. She is a co-author of the listening text, Listening: Processes, Functions, and Competency.
