Maya Brady-Ngugi
Maya Brady-Ngugi
was raised in Brooklyn, New York. She has always been committed to social justice and activism, and decided that education was the best vehicle to help her community. Her passion surrounding education and academia is focused around creating more equitable educational experiences, culturally relevant teaching for Black and Brown students, and using child psychology as a guide for educational practices. She currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia where she is beginning her teaching career.
