Michael Gerlich
Michael Gerlich
holds a PhD from ARU, Cambridge and a MBA from University of Cambridge. He is the director of the Swiss Center for Strategic Corporate Foresight and Sustainability and a senior faculty at SBS Swiss Business School. He also teaches at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences and ARU, Cambridge. During the past 25 years, he has worked as an adviser to the President and the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, the Cabinet of Ministers in Uzbekistan and various Ministers for economic affairs in Azerbaijan, in addition to holding leading positions within GIZ (the German Development Bank) and the International Finance Corporation. He also held posts at various academic institutions, including the ADA University, Baku where he holds the position of Adjunct Professor of Management and Tashkent State Economic University, where he was Dean of the International Business School. Dr Gerlich published his research in multiple leading academic journals.
