Mobi Mathew

Mobi Mathew is a hardworking researcher, academician, and entrepreneur. Mobi is a distinguished chartered engineer, holding a prestigious membership with the Institute of Engineers India. Mobi is currently doing research in Energy Engineering towards Ph.D. degree from Energy Institute, Bangalore – the center of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, India. The theme of his Ph.D. is “Size optimization and energy management of grid integrated solar photovoltaic based community microgrid with hybrid energy storage system”. Mobi has done M. Tech in Energy Management, Auditing, and Lighting from Manipal University; MBA in Power Management from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, India; PG Diploma in Renewable Energy from TERI University; PG Diploma in Environmental Law from National Law School of India Univeristy; and B. Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Calicut University with good academic merit. Mobi has a teaching experience of 2 years as a faculty in two engineering colleges in India, and a research experience of three years. Mobi has published 40 papers in reputed IEEE & Elsevier journals and conferences. Mobi is a hardworking and enthusiastic person having a keen interest in research and teaching in the fields of electrical power systems, energy systems, energy modeling, etc. Mobi is the founder and director of HICCER - Hariterde International Council of Circular Economy Research, an independent non-govt non-profit research and development council established under Section 8 Companies Act, 2013 in India by two young transdisciplinary energy and sustainability engineers and governed by a committee of members from across the world for accelerating the transition to a circular economy locally and globally.
