Mohd Afjal
Mohd Afjal
is an accomplished academic and researcher with over five years of experience. Currently an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at the AACSB-accredited VIT Business School, he leverages his extensive educational background, including a PhD in Economics, an MBA in Financial Management, an M.A. in Economics, a PGDM, a B.A. (Hons), and 3 Certificate Courses. He has a remarkable track record of 16 publications in ABDC/SCOPUS/UGC CARE, 2 research papers under review, 2 working research papers, and an authored book chapter. Dr. Afjal is a UGC-NET qualified in Commerce and Economics, known for his engagement in organizing 3 seminars/conferences/workshops, providing 5 MDP/Industrial Training & Consultancy programs, and guiding a PhD scholar along with 38 dissertations. A frequent participant and presenter in international conferences, he has attended 10 QIP/FDP/Refresher Courses and holds lifetime memberships in 4 professional organizations. Dr. Afjal's research interests include Performance Evaluation of Industries, Benchmarking and Frontier Analysis, Corporate Finance, Behavioural Finance, Blockchain and FinTech, and Financial Econometrics. As an instructor, his areas of expertise include Financial Management, Economics, Security Analysis & Portfolio Management, Financial Derivatives, Financial Market, Financial Modelling, and Research Methodology. He adeptly uses statistical software like STATA, EViews, R Programming, SPSS, and DEAP for his academic and research purposes.
