N. S. Harinarayana
Harinarayana S.
is a distinguished academician with a wealth of experience in the field of Library and Information Science. He currently holds the position of Professor at the Department of Studies in Library and Information Science, University of Mysore. Dr. Harinarayana boasts an extensive career in academia, with over 20 years of teaching experience in Library and Information Science. Dr. Harinarayana has successfully supervised 8 Ph.D. candidates and is currently mentoring 9 ongoing doctoral candidates. He boasts a distinguished record of publication, with 155 articles in international and national academic journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Harinarayana has received numerous awards, including the “Library Service Award” by the Karnataka Government and an International Travel Fellowship from the Australian Research Council and Consortium of Australian Universities. Recently he received IACL 2023 - Best Paper Award in International Conference on Academic Libraries “Transforming Academic Libraries: Evolution, Innovation, Quality, Transfiguration Organized by Delhi University Library System, University of Delhi.
