Latha R
is Serving as an Associate Professor at SRM Institute of Science and Technology. Did Ph.D. in English (ELT) at Madras Christian College, under University of Madras. Has 26 years of experience in teaching and training students of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Had served as the Head of Science and Humanities and Head of English for more than a decade. Had delivered seminars and conducted workshops on varied topics to teachers and students on teaching and learning process. Had served as the Head of Learning and Development. Had designed a training module on building soft skills and language competence for the engineering students across all the years. Had published workbook for Engineering students titled,” Professional Communication”. Has published research papers in reputed peer reviewed national and international journals of ELT and linguistics. The area of research includes language Acquisition, Digital Pedagogy and Distance and Online Learning. Had been the session chair at the international conferences and delivered key note address.
