Ritwika Nag

Ritwika Nag is an RCI-licensed clinical psychologist, currently working as a research assistant in project SAMA, Safeguarding Adolescent Mental Health in India which is a collaboration between the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) and the University of Leeds, UK. She is an early career researcher whose career is marked by expertise, innovation, and unwavering dedication to the well-being of young minds. She is also a PhD Scholar in Clinical Psychology from the Australian National University, Canberra, where she intends to embark on a journey that leaves an indelible mark on the landscape of child and adolescent mental health. Throughout the past 5 years, she has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by young individuals. Ritwika has contributed significantly to the advancement of evidence-based assessments and interventions tailored specifically for children and adolescents. Through research published in prestigious journals and books, Ritwika has explored a wide range of topics, including the impact of trauma on childhood and the psychopathology of dissociative disorders in adolescents. In addition to her academic and research career, Ritwika has also participated and attended various national and international conferences such as the International Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professionals (ICAPAP) where she also received the prestigious ICAPAP Education and Travel Grant 2022, sharing insights and experiences that have resonated with fellow professionals and influenced the evolution of child and adolescent psychology practices.
