Sanjana Prasad

Sanjana Prasad (Member, IEEE) received the B.E and M.E degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Communication Systems from Anna University, Chennai in the year 2013 and 2015 respectively. In 2020, she received the Ph.D. degree in Information & Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai. She has full time research experience in the field of Wireless Communications and teaching experience at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. Her Ph.D thesis title is “Investigations on techniques to reduce Peak to Average power ratio reduction in OFDM systems”. Dr. Sanjana Prasad is an accomplished researcher and an academician with a strong academic background and diverse expertise brings a wealth of knowledge as an Associate Professor in the Department of ECE at HKBK College of Engineering, Bangalore. She has around 20 publications, including international conferences and journals, 3 Patents published. She is a reviewer for many international journals such as IET Communications, International Journal of Communication systems, IEEE Access, International Journal of Engineering Research and Technology, International Journal of Antennas and Propagation and Wireless Personal Communications. She is also a member of professional bodies such as IEEE, IAENG and IETE. Known for her mentoring skills and guiding UG students towards innovative ideas and projects, takes part in research-related programmes conducted in India and abroad, thereby supports the impact of research in the organization. Her research areas include Wireless Communications, Optimization techniques, 4G/5G/B5G Systems, Machine learning, Artificial intelligence, IoT and Blockchain Technology.
