Santiago Mengual-Andres
Santiago Mengual-Andres
has been teaching and researching for 19 years. Between 2002 and 2007, he was Research Fellow at the UA, joining the teaching staff of the Faculty of Education as Assistant Professor between 2008 and 2011. In 2012, he moved his professional activity as Assistant Professor to the Faculty of Philosophy and Educational Sciences of the University of Valencia (UV). There he joined the Department of Comparative Education and History of Education, as Associate Professor (tenured, not civil servant) in 2015. Since then, he has developed his stable career in teaching, research and management in this faculty, and has held positions of special relevance. Between 2015 and 2018, he was Academic Secretary of his Department and since 2018 he has been Vice-Dean of Quality, Research and Innovation. He has also held positions of responsibility in UV Management Commissions, such as: the Presidency of the Faculty’s Quality Committee, member of the University of Valencia’s Research Commission; member of the Subcommittee for the Quality Teacher Evaluation. He has been Secretary of the Doctoral Studies Academic Committee in Education. He is currently a member of the Academic Senate of the University of Valencia.
