Sarah Elizabeth Campbell

Sarah Campbell is a leader and life-long learner in the field of early childhood education. She feels it is her responsibility to work towards systematic change by enhancing the anti-bias teaching practices of those she supports. In order to provide the highest quality education experience for our learners, she encourages the use of reflective practice. She has worked diligently in the past years to use reflection as a tool for self-growth and believes that engaging in reflective practice within the context of strong relationships will create space for equitable learning to happen. She is called to inspire fellow educators to show strength and vulnerability by using reflective practice effectively and does so by designing and facilitating professional development opportunities with members of her staff (and those in the extended early learning community). The National Association for the Education of Young Children describes reflective practice as a requirement to achieve equitable learning - which is at the heart of her educational philosophy.
