|Dr. Nida Firdous - Contributing Author|Dr. Nida Firdous is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Food Science and Technology, FF&HS, MNS-University of Agriculture, Multan. Experience of working as Assistant Food Safety Officer, Scientific officer and master trainer in Punjab Food Authority for 5 years. Worked as Visiting Scholar at University of Minnesota, USA. Published 12 peer reviewed research papers in national and international journals. Authored one book and worked on various research projects. Received letter of appreciation and multiple honoraria rewards from Govt. of Pakistan on multiple occasions for working on food safety related issues in Punjab. Acquired multiple trainings on HACCP Level-IV Highfield Level 4 Award in HACCP for Management (CODEX Principles) (RQF), International Food Standards, Global market programs: A pathway towards GFSI-Recognized certification, Quality Management System and Six Sigma, E-Codes and their critical halal aspects in Food industries, Traceability: A concept in halal food chain, and “Supercritical fluid extraction technique: Isolation of Functional and Nutraceutical food components”.
