Sharon E. Ingram

Sharon Ingram is a Knowledge Exchange Assistant at the University of Strathclyde. Sharon has had close links with industry throughout her career, beginning with a year-long undergraduate placement with Schlumberger as part of her Chemistry degree. Her PhD on nanocomposite-filled epoxies was funded by Cytec. After her PhD, Sharon worked as an associate on a major Knowledge Transfer Partnership with Carron Phoenix bringing her expertise of nanocomposites to the manufacture of granite-filled acrylic kitchen sinks. Joining the Chemistry Clinic in 2014, Sharon’s role as Project Manager sees her make expert assessment on initial KE enquiries, identifying and securing funding and ensuring effective delivery of the student-led projects. Sharon has a particular interest in the personal development of the students.
