Sourav Gupta
Sourav Gupta
is PhD and specializes in Communication for Development, Media Aesthetics and Gender & Cultural Studies. He has a teaching experience of over a decade. He has the rare distinction of teaching in three states. Between 2008-11, he taught at Gurudas College, Kolkata, Central University of Bihar, Patna and from 2012 onwards he is teaching at the Central University of Odisha, Koraput, where he is presently serving as a Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication. He has published 35 research papers in reputed academic journals and as book chapters, presented papers in 20 seminars and delivered 25 invited lectures as Resource Person in prestigious institutions. He is a member of editorial board of several academic journals and has guest edited issues like ‘Thetre & Communication’ Issue of the Global Media Journal-Indian Edition in 2014.
