Suneel Kumar
Suneel Kumar
holds a Ph.D. in Tourism Marketing and Tourists Behavior, which he obtained from Himachal Pradesh University Shimla, India. Currently, he serves as a Professor in the Department of Commerce at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi, India. Dr. Kumar has undertaken a significant major research project as a Principal Investigator, which was awarded by the ICSSR, IMPRESS, Ministry of Education, and Government of India. The project is titled “Sustainable Rural Tourism: An Approach for Transforming Rural India - A Case Study of Himachal Pradesh”. His research interests encompass various aspects of the field, including Tourism and Hospitality Management, Rural Tourism, Sustainability and Green Practices, Destination Branding, and Marketing. Presently, Dr. Kumar is actively engaged as a Co-Principal Investigator in a major research project awarded by the ICSSR, Ministry of Education, and Government of India. The project is titled “Eco-Tourism: A Panacea for Sustainable Development in Himachal Pradesh”. Moreover, he has presented about 50 research papers in international and national conferences and published more than 35 research papers & chapters in indexed journals/ edited books.
