Suzan Ceylan-Batur
Suzan Ceylan-Batur
currently holds the position of Assistant Professor at TOBB University of Economics and Technology in Turkey. She is a social psychologist with an interest in investigating how cultural practices influence human behavior, emotions, and cognition. Her research adopts a multifaceted approach, integrating experimental, survey, and qualitative methodologies to gain deeper insights into the impact of socio-cultural factors on critical issues such as violence against women, retaliation, and forgiveness. One of her primary research focuses involves exploring the interplay between social influences and individual differences in shaping attitudes towards these pressing societal concerns. In another research domain, she endeavors to uncover the fundamental mechanisms that underlie these attitudes.
