Thatayaone Segaetsho
Thatayaone Segaetsho
is a Lecturer at the Department of Library and Information Studies, University of Botswana. Previously he worked as a Conservator (April 2008 – 2021) at the University of Botswana Library Services. He holds Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Library and Information Studies obtained at University of Botswana in 2017, BSc (Chemistry)-University of Botswana (UB), Post Graduate Diploma (Conservation) and Masters of Arts (Conservation) both obtained at Camberwell College of Arts in the UK. Dr Segaetsho is currently the Secretariat of Africa China Research Group (ACRG) (June 2015-Current) at University of Botswana. He is the Chairperson of the Disaster Management Committee of the University of Botswana Library, and Secretary for University of Botswana Sustainable Development Goals (UB SDG HUB) Committee. He also served as an Assistant Secretariat (January 2013-December 2013) for The Review Committee of the Reorganization of the UB Administration, University of Botswana. He was a member of The Organizing Committee for the IFLA/RISS satellite meeting, The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA): Reference and Information Services Section (RISS) 2015 satellite meeting Gaborone.
