Thea Henderson Dirton
Thea Henderson Dirton
is an Educational Leader in her community. She studies and documents the effect of research-based strategies on her educational organization and the educational system as a whole. She attended Winthrop University and Capella University obtaining Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate degrees. She has taught in a variety of different school settings after attaining her life-long goal of becoming a teacher. Dr. Dirton is a leader in her community, serving on the Board of Directors for two non-profit organizations that serve underserved populations and she is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta, Sorority Inc, which includes serving as one of the youth coordinators for her chapter. She is a peer-reviewed author of many book chapters and articles and presented at national, state, and local conferences.
