Vassilios Makrakis
Vassilios Makrakis
is a Professor of ICT in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) at the University of Crete, Greece and Frederick University, Cyprus. He is also a UNESCO Chair holder in the theme of ICT in ESD at the University of Crete. His expertise is on climate change education, sustainability policy, virtual learning, ICT-enabled ESD. Prof. Makrakis has published 5 books and more than 200 scientific articles in the field of ICT and ESD. He has coordinated more than 10 European-funded projects in the Middle East, South East Asia and South Africa.
