Abstract

This chapter explores the function of cutting-edge technologies including artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and the metaverse in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The chapter covers how to use augmented reality and how it can help you have more meaningful conversations with others. The potential of ChatGPT and the metaverse as interactive learning environments is also discussed in this chapter. The effects on educational policy and teacher preparation, as well as an examination of students' independence in technologically advanced classrooms, are discussed in the last section.
