Space, Time, and Process
Abstract
This chapter starts by describing the main features of distance education and by analyzing the changes induced from this way of the teaching-learning practice on space and time, which are considered as two constitutive factors of traditional education. The chapter then focuses on the following aspects: space ubiquity, simultaneity, and logical-psychological concomitance and depicts new scenarios for education while describing the changes induced on those aspects by distance.
