Abstract

Virtual communities have emerged since the Web has become a popular tool for the mass. Mobile Virtual Communities (MVCs), which have been recently gaining more momentum in research and industry, are expected to be the next step in the development of virtual communities. Tools to enhance the students’ experience in the campus environment can play an important role in education. This paper suggests several ways in which MVCs can be utilized to enhance the students’ life experience on campus at the educational, organizational, and communal levels.
